About:
LPI Linux Certification is managed by the Linux Professional Institute (LPI). Since 2010, CompTIA and LPI have partnered to also offer the CompTIA Linux+ Powered by LPI exam. There are three levels in LPI certification: level I, II, and III. An LPI certification indicates that you have demonstrated a certain degree of Linux competency in a variety of areas, such as performing maintenance on the command line or troubleshooting small mixed networks. Certification exams are administered by Pearson VUE at testing centers across the world. Beginning July 1, 2012, LPI certification exams will no longer be given at Prometric testing centers.
